Dan Callister is a New York based editorial, commercial & conservation photographer from Wales. He has covered some of the world’s biggest news stories including September 11th, America's opioid crisis, the covid pandemic, hurricanes, eruptions, terror attacks and an infamous water skiing squirrel named Twiggy. He’s survived a light-plane crash in the Mojave Desert, had his ribs fractured by LAPD, shot at, tear gassed and had a run in with the Hells Angels. Dan is extremely passionate about natural history and the marine environment. His work regularly appears in books, magazines, documentaries and marketing campaigns around the world.
